• Utilizing Coreless Toilet Paper
  To reduce cardboard waste, we’ve adopted the use of coreless toilet paper throughout our facilities. This small yet impactful step helps cut down on the unnecessary waste that often ends up in landfills.
• Fully Aluminum
  By exclusively carrying aluminum cans at our facility, we’ve eliminated single-use plastic containers altogether. Aluminum is highly recyclable and much more sustainable.
• Eco-Friendly Insect Repellent
  Ensuring our visitors enjoy bug-free adventures responsibly is a priority. That’s why we offer eco-friendly insect repellent for sale. It’s safe for the environment and minimizes harm to the preserve’s delicate ecosystem while still protecting you from pests.
• Water Refill Stations
  Stay cool, hydrated, and reduce plastic waste at the same time! Our on-site water refill stations encourage visitors to use reusable bottles, cutting down dramatically on single-use plastics.
• Removing Debris from Coastal Waters
  To maintain the health of Crystal River’s delicate marine environment, we regularly use large fishing nets to clear debris from coastal waters. This initiative directly contributes to safer habitats for marine animals and healthier ecosystems.
• Eco-Friendly Boat Maintenance
  Our boats are cleaned exclusively with eco-friendly chemicals to minimize environmental impact. This step ensures that the preserve’s rivers and oceans remain unpolluted.
• Mullet Hole and Dock Upkeep
  We take great pride in policing key areas of the preserve’s shoreline, including Mullet Hole and the docks. Regular cleanups ensure visitors can enjoy these spots in their natural, unspoiled state.
• Repurposing Used Oil
  We responsibly dispose of used oil by taking it to state-certified facilities, where it’s safely repurposed instead of being left to harm the environment.
