There is no campground within the park, but lodging is available nearby.

In the case of operator cancellation due to weather or unforseen circumstances guest will receive a full refund.

Dogs are permitted in the park as long as they are on a leash.

Wheelchairs and power scooters can generally be accommodated in most scenarios, but some larger equipment may not be compatible. Please contact us ahead of time if you will need special accommodations. The main marina parking lot as well as the Monroe tour boat are accessible. For any specific requirements or to assess compatibility with your equipment, we recommend contacting staff on site or scouting the location in person.

No, swimming is not permitted within the preserve.




The Visitor Center is located at the Crystal River Archeological Site next door.

Boat Tour FAQs

Boat tour and pontoon rentals are located in the Marina section of the park near the entrance.

Our boat is ADA friendly, but not built to full ADA standards. Power scooters and other large mobility equipment may not be compatible with our boarding ramp. Compact wheelchairs are preferred. Please call ahead if you have questions about your specific equipment.


Yes, with one weeks notice and up to 25 guests.



We offer 3 tours: a leisurely 1.5-hour professionally narrated boat tour on the 24-passenger vessel Monroe, a 1 hour sunset cruise, and a private Eco Heritage Tour for large groups. To view tour times and dates, please visit https://crystalriverpreserveadventures.com/reservations/

Guests are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages aboard. Please help us keep the vessel and park clean by properly disposing of all trash and packaging. Outside alcohol is not permitted on the boat.
